Green Car Depollution management have spent the day celebrating our finalist nomination at the prestigious 'Awards for Excellence in Recycling & Waste Management'. The 20th Anniversary of the monumental event was held at the exclusive Grosvenor Marriot hotel in
London and hosted by funny (and at times quite outrageous!) TV Presenter Mark Durden-Smith.
The judging panel had selected Green Car Depollution because it's "innovative "Power" range of depollution & dismantling equipment has totally transformed the way in which some of the UK's largest vehicle recyclers are able to process their ELV's and waste, including - Sims Metals, Copart, Synetiq, Recycling Lives, ASM and Scrapco"
After a fantastic lunch, it was winner announcement time! It must be noted that no matter what the outcome we were just so proud to have been selected as finalists alongside some
of the UK's most successful businesses. We were up against equipment giant JCB and online grocery trailblazers Ocado!
And c'est la vie... in the end it was JCB that pipped us to the post! But we certainly didn't feel like losers, we were truly humbled to have even nominated. That was a big enough win for us.
Following the event our Director Olivia, said:
