Green Car Depollution are proud to be the chosen depollution partner for ASM’s flourishing auto recycling and metal recycling operations, with six depots based across four counties in the South East of England.
The 15-acre state-of-the-art site in Thame, Oxfordshire, is the home of ASMs auto recycling business, storing over 3,500 vehicles for dismantling & auctioning, and over 100,000 inventoried green parts. This is a hugely impressive site, and when we installed six ‘GC6’ depollution systems with vehicle lifts to fulfil their ever-increasing vehicle throughput, our highly skilled engineers were tasked with one of our most challenging and lengthy pipe-runs to date. We also supplied and installed a GC Vehicle Side Tip, designed to ease and speed-up the dismantling and processing of ELV’s.
Such is the on-site attention to detail that when planning this workshop upgrade, ASM Auto Recycling specifically requested that the equipment be bespoke in the red livery of the company, which incidentally, also match the colours of Thame United FC, whose home is of course the super-impressive ASM stadium. As a key employer in the area, in addition to being one of the main environmental business models to operate, ASM also are right at the very heart of the local community in terms of charity and sponsorship support - and as a family business ourselves, we totally endorse this local commitment!
ASM’s auto recycling operation dovetails perfectly with their long-established sister company, ASM Metal Recycling, and Green Car was more than happy to also provide depollution equipment to their sites to keep up with their continued expansion requirements. Both the Kings Langley depot (Hertfordshire) and the Totternhoe depot (Bedfordshire) use Green Cars’ GC6 system with vehicle lifts.
This year both metal recycling depots have also added Green Cars’ bestselling All-In-One ™ system with 4.5T swl integrated Power Stand to meet increasing demand.
Using industry best practice, together with forward thinking and intelligent investment, the ASM operations are now handling & processing over 35,000 vehicles annually, together with an impressive commitment to both the planet and their own communities.
